Day 1

Arrival in Chennai

Today on your arrival you will be welcome by our representative after introduction of our driver you will transfer to hotel, upon arrival check in to the hotel after small refreshment you can proceed for Chennai sightseeing visit famous Lord Kapaleeswar Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva) Gopuram, Mandapam and tank are interesting points to see, later visit St. George Fort Museum (closed on Friday) - Important place to visit to know about ancient Chennai. It has great historical importance & worth visiting place.

Day 2

Chennai / Kanchipuram / Mahabalipuram - 150 km (3 hrs drive)

Morning had your breakfast you can proceed to Mahabalipuram which is one of famous coastal region in Tamilnadu enroute you can visit Kanchipuram sightseeing visit Kailasanathar Temple, built in 8th Century AD. It is built in the typical Pallava style, with a pyramidal tower, a pillared hall & vestibule, enclosed by a wall. The temple is famous for exquisite carvings & attracts devotees & tourists alike.

Day 3

Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry - 100 kms (2 hrs drive)

Morning had your breakfast you can proceed to Mahabalipuram sightseeing visit famous Arjuna's Penance is the world's largest bas-relief. This huge whale-back shaped rock contains figures of gods, demigods, men, beasts, birds. Next we visit Rathas, monolithic temples fashioned as chariots.

Day 4

Pondicherry

Today morning finish your breakfast you can proceed for Pondicherry sightseeing visit famous Aurobindo Ashram - it represents a combination of Yoga and Modern Science, Auroville – one of the world famous Meditation center, to do meditation people from different parts of the world come to this place, Later return back to hotel and take your lunch at the hotel. In the evening you can visit Manakula Vinayagar Temple and overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Day 5

Pondicherry / Chidambaram / Darasuram / Kumbakonam - 200 kms (4 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast start drive to Tanjore enroute visit Chidambaram visit Famous Lord Natarajar Temple (dedicated to Lord shiva) it represents one of the five elements (sky) and this is only temple where we can see Lord Shiva in dancing posture and then continue your drive, Darasuram visit the famous Airavateeswarar Temple located close to Kumbakonam. This temple is a storehouse of art and architecture which was built by Raja Raja Chola II in the 12th century A D. This temple is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Monument, and then continue your drive to hotel.

Day 6

Kumbakonam / Tanjore / Trichy - 110 kms (2.5 hrs drive)

Morning had your breakfast you can proceed to Tanjore, which is popularly said to be as the rice bowl of Tamilnadu, after reaching Tanjore you can visit famous famous Brahadeeswarar Temple an 1000Years old temple built by Famous King Raja Raja Chola, later you can visit Maratha Palace inside to the palace we can visit King Saroboji Saraswathy Mahal Library, Art Gallery and Sangeetha Mahal. After sightseeing continues drive to Trichy. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and take rest for sometimes in the later afternoon you can proceed for Trichy sightseeing visit famous Rock Fort Temple most famed landmark is an 83 m high rock which is the only outcrop in the otherwise flat land of the city.

Day 7

Trichy / Chettinad / Madurai - 120 kms (2.5 hrs drive)

Today morning finish your breakfast you can proceed to Madurai enroute you can visit Chettinad; It’s the homeland of the Nattukottai Chettiars. After reaching Chettinad you can just drive around the streets to view the huge traditional bungalows this architect style of this old buildings which catch the eye appeal of those whoever visit this place, later drive to Madurai enroute you can visit Athur tiles factory, here you can able to see handmade tiles making process after visit the factory you can continue drive to Madurai. It is one of the oldest cities in Tamilnadu.

Day 8

Madurai

Today early morning you can proceed for Vanakkam Madurai walking tour (optional) and you can see the everyday life of an Indian city and cultur later return back to hotel take your breakfast. Later you can proceed for Madurai city tour visit famous Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, later visit Thirumalainayak Palace – This palace is built by king Thirumalai Nayak , who was one of the Nayak ruler, later visit Gandhi Museum - This museum was built to honor our Father of nation, Gandhi JI. It gives a detailed history about his freedom struggle after visiting return back to the hotel.

Madurai
Day 9

Madurai / Thekkady - 150 kms (4 hrs drive)

Morning finish your breakfast you can start drive to Periyar, the popular wild life region in Kerala. Periyar is a place to cruise on the lake & gives an opportunity to see wild life. It is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, monkey, a wide variety of birds, up on arrival check in to the hotel and after small refreshment you can proceed for Spice Plantation Tour (optional) where you can see variety of spices grown in Periyar.

Madurai / Thekkady - 150 kms (4 hrs drive)
Day 10

Thekkady / Munnar - 110 kms (3 hrs drive)

Today early morning you can proceed to enjoy the Boat Ride (optional) which is provide inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve after done this activity you return back to hotel and take your breakfast. Later check from the property and you can proceed to Munnar; It’s one of the most popular hill station in Kerala, where we can see the lush greenery. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Munnar

Today morning after your breakfast you can proceed for Munnar sightseeing visit Eravikulam National Park  (Every year Feb to March closed) a famous sanctuary to see the rate species Nilgiri Thars (Mountain goats), mammals, Sambars, Barking Deers & etc., Later you can visit Tea Museum (closed on Monday), It’s a collection of old bits and pieces from the colonial era can be seen here, demonstration of tea production, information on machineries, tea processing and you can walk besides the beautiful lush green tea plantation. Later you can visit Mattupetty Dam, one of the famous dam in Kerala that provide a great water resource for the surroundings, here you can options to take Boat Ride activity. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 12

Munnar / Cochin - 140 kms (4 hrs drive)

Morning had your breakfast you can proceed to Cochin, Upon arrival check in to the hotel after small refreshment you can proceed for Cochin sightseeing visit famous St. Francis Church, built by the Portuguese in 1510 A.D. It is believed to be the oldest European Church built in India.

Day 13

Cochin / Alleppey - 70 kms (1.5 hrs drive)

Today morning done your breakfast you can proceed to Alleppey, the most popular backwater destination in Kerala, up on arrival board the houseboat locally called Kettuvallam, and cruise around beautiful Vembanad Lake, This Lake offers an enchanting experience to the tourists. The lake is the best picnic spot, where you can relax your mind and body. While the water gives the place a cooling effect, trees and shrubs act as a respite to the parched eyes.

Alleppey / Marari - 40 kms (1 hrs drive)
