In the summer of 2025, we explored Rajasthan thanks to the agency India Karni, recommended to us by a colleague who had already used their services a few years ago. We confirm it was an excellent choice: we built the itinerary together, communicating via email, based on the available days (14) and our budget, starting from a great initial proposal sent to us by the agency. Once we agreed on the final version, we paid a deposit equal to half of the total cost to secure hotels and other experiences. We often stayed in fabulous locations, which made the trip unforgettable. Our driver was Dhara, experienced, insightful, and professional. We always felt safe amidst the unpredictability of Indian traffic, discussing customs and traditions in both Italian and English. A cornerstone of our trip. We chose tour operator INDIA KARNI for our two-week tour in Rajasthan at the suggestion of a friend. From the first initial contacts, Mr. Karni has been kind and experienced in tailoring an itinerary for us that includes the most interesting places in that wonderful region. Between two categories of overnight stays, we chose (with an extra charge) to stay in wonderful historic buildings and haveli to make your stay even more suggestive and all (except one) turned out to be amazing. Our tour was supposed to take place in March but the cancellation of our flights with a stopover in the M.O., forced us to postpone the departure by a month, with the inconvenience of having found temperatures around 40 ° that however did not prevent us from visiting every scheduled stop. The Italian speaking guides assigned for the tour stops proved to be prepared and punctual. Our driver Anand immediately was kind and nice and did everything possible to make our tour special even complying with our specific requests (how many times he stopped at my request to buy coconut!!!) and thanks to our conversations in Italian and English with him, we were able to learn about many curiosities and traditions of the ancient Indian civilization. Thank you Mr. Karni and thank you Anand for introducing us to Rajasthan! We hope to visit other areas of India with your agency!

We traveled to India this February and once again used India Karni car service for a customized tour around South India. Our itinerary included Kannur, Udupi, Belur, Halebidu, Mangalore, and back to Kannur, followed by a second trip from Bangalore to Hampi. Our driver, Mr. Santhosh, was outstanding. He was kind, patient, always punctual, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the journey. When we had a small issue with one of our hotel bookings (which we had arranged independently), he handled the situation calmly and efficiently, helping us find an excellent alternative. We truly appreciated his professionalism and support. For the Bangalore–Hampi leg, we had a different driver who was equally punctual and professional, and everything went smoothly. Both cars were very comfortable and well maintained, which made the longer road journeys relaxing and enjoyable. We have used this car service on previous trips in India as well and have never experienced any issues. India Karni was such an amazing surprise! It was suggested to us by an italian friend of mine who was a guest of theirs last year so we tried it and everything was very well organised. The car was ok, always cleaned up every morning from the day before, and the driver was simply perfect! Dilip in fact, besides driving us everywhere, would enjoy us during each travel talking about anything just out of kindness and hospitality. Oh and by the way, the fact that India Karni allowed us to pay almost 70% of the amount directly in Jaipur was a great sign of trust. I don't know in India, but in Italy you absolutely have to pay all the amount of the travel to the agency before leaving from your home country, so that was much appreciated also. If we ever come back to India again, for sure we will be considering to travel again with India Karni, which we also suggest to everyone interested in going there!

A few years ago I had a wonderful experience in Rajasthan with Karni. We spent almost a month traveling through the most beautiful cities of northern India from Delhi to Varanassi, passing through the Taj Mahal and the Indian jungle. The hotel we stayed in was first class, generally in rooms of palaces of Marajas, we made 3,000 km through the countryside from city to city. The vehicle was good and the driver in English taught us a lot about Indian religion and culture. We ate healthily in street stalls and did not have any problems. Definitely excellent Karni service. We have visited Rajastan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in August on a totale tour of 18 days. We usually organize our tour on our own but for this trip, since the complexity of this wonderful country, we relied on a local agency, Popular India of Mr. Karni. The trip we arranged with Karni was magnificent. In 16 days, we saw Rajasthan, the tiger at Rantambore, Agra, Varanasi, and Delhi. The organization was perfect. I have just finished a fantastic 14 day tour of India, custom organised by local Popular India Vacations Tour Operator, met by chance surfing the internet and it was exactly as I wished. Indiakarni.it has taken care of every detail with great professionalism, offering us a great price and meeting all our needs without any hesitation. The hotels selected along the way were almost all of a good standard, comfortable, clean enough and ideally located for the planned visits. A sore note for the KARNI BHAWAN PALACE hotel in Bikaner, unfortunately not up to the task of everyone else, as well as the FLORENCE INN hotel in Delhi, albeit slightly better. I advise the agency to consider an alternative in future organizations. Special thanks go to our driver Kana, simply number one: impeccable driving in a country where traffic is really anomalous in our Western eyes, chaotic and unregulated. With my wife we spent two weeks in India (09/2025) visiting Delhi, Rajasthan and the Uttar Pradesh region in particular. We relied on the Karni agency. We had a wonderful trip to Rajasthan and part of Pradesh which was made even more special by our driver Manocc. He was professional in the drive, flexible in adapting to our needs/times and knowledgeable on indian culture, religion and history. Whenever our tour was not foreseeing a guided visit to a temple or fort, Manocc always helpful in calling local guides, who were really good. The car was always clean and comfortable and still today we are surprised and admire the way he navigated us in the crazy indian traffic. Overall we were very well looked after, felt safe at all times and explored India in style, looking at places and temples that without Manocc we would have never accessed. We had a very nice time with the tour we bought from india Karni: nice hotels, wonderful places, and good organization.
We had already been to India two years ago with Popular India doing the classic tour Delhi, Agra and Rajastan. Having decided to return to India this year we turned again to Karni indicating some destinations in northern India that we were interested in visiting. Karni proposed a very interesting and less touristic itinerary that touched several holy cities, starting from Amritsar, the holy city of the Sikhs, and touching among others Haridwar, Vrindavan, Gwalior, Orchha, Khajuraho, Hallahabad, and ending in Varanasi. The organization was very professional with a great choice of hotels and drivers (we had 3) all very kind and extremely helpful. With the first (Shalendra) we did almost the whole tour to Varanasi where he entrusted us to another driver (Ravindra) of a corresponding agency who accompanied us in the two days in Varanasi and then accompanied us to the airport for the plane transfer to Delhi. On the last day in Delhi, finally, we were driven by the excellent Shankhar (a “veteran” of Karni who speaks good Italian) until the transfer to the airport for the return flight. The trip was really interesting even if some travel turned out to be quite long (even more than expected) also thanks to the many downpours and consequent flooding, but traveling in the monsoon season you have to expect! The strength of Karni’s organization is that drivers never force a schedule and, at most, suggest priorities. They are also very discreet in pushing to shopping: in 14 days we visited only 3 stores, one of which at our request and without any insistence. To sum up, our experience with Karni and its organization was excellent, up to our previous visit.

My dear friend and I have delegated the organization of our trip to Rajasthan for August 2025 to Popular India. Mr. John. Kharni managed to find the best tour we could want based on our needs and requests (e.g. hotel standards and attractions we wanted to visit). Mr. John. Kharni responds quickly to emails and has always been very helpful to provide us with clarifications and reassurances on any of our questions in. Once we arrived in Delhi, a bit disoriented, he welcomed us with a huge smile Anand (for friends Nando) our driver. Anand immediately put us at ease and immediately gave us a feeling of calm and confidence always showing us that he is committed to finding the best option for our needs (cleanest restaurants possible and that cooked dishes not too spicy, clean bathrooms along the way, where to buy the best souvenirs, etc...). But Anand was not just a driver for us because he was: an older brother (one night we wanted to go out alone to dinner and he, despite being very late and very tired, insisted on taking us being two single girls), a tour guide (he loves his country and was always available to answer passionately everything we asked him about India), a spiritual guide (as a Brahmin he has a wide knowledge of the Hindu religion and with a lot of patience answered all our questions on the subject). In short, a really heartfelt, kind and polite person who welcomed us and accompanied us on this journey with a fraternal care that we really did not expect. Other aspects to report are not insignificant: every day he cleans his car both inside and out trying to make the environment as comfortable as possible, he worries about doing a recap every day to check that we have not forgotten anything, he changed our money when we wanted with a favorable gearbox, he drives very well, speaks very good English and also a little Italian, he is a very respectful person and never intrusive but when there is laughter and jokes he never backs down. We’ve just returned from a two-week journey through Northern India arranged by Popular India Vacations, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The hotels had real charm, the itinerary was perfect, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Sure, there were a few small hiccups along the way (nothing major) but the team was always easy to reach and quick to respond when we needed to adjust something. The real highlight for us, though, was Anand, our driver. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for everything he did. From day one, he made us feel completely safe and comfortable. He’s not only an incredibly skilled and calm driver, even on the busiest roads, but also a genuinely kind and respectful person. Anand had a great sense of when to chat and when to give us space, and he looked after us as if we were long-time friends. If you’re planning a trip with this agency, do yourself a favor and ask for Anand. He added so much to the experience, more than we ever expected. One last thing I want to mention: if you’re heading to Jaipur, maybe skip the elephant rides at Amber Fort. We had a great tour in Rajhastan . We had a really special driver who took care to all our needs and an easy internet on the van and water always available. Too many beautiful places to just underline one. The agency always available for some change even at the last minute. We good costs.
When we landed in Delhi, we met our driver, Anand. The itinerary was more comprehensive and rich than I would have been able to plan (even though I have considerable experience organizing independent trips). The travel schedule was intense (there weren't many days available), but it offered considerable flexibility. All of this was possible thanks above all to an exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable driver. Anand, as he was called, was not only our driver, but also our discreet yet ever-present companion. For our second time in India, we worked with India Karni. After a positive experience, we once again relied on this Jaipur-based agency to organize a tour of Rajasthan. For the third time we were in India with Karni Popular Holidays in India. This time we were five cousins and we did a two-week tour of Gujarat using a Karni minibus driven by the excellent Kana. For our first trip to India, we decided to rely on India Karni, on Recommendation of a friend. We took a tour of Rajasthan of about 11 days, during which we got to visit beautiful places and get to know the local reality, staying in beautiful hotels (at our request, Karni had booked us 5 star hotels one more beautiful than the other and almost all in historic palace). Recommendation India Karni not only for the competent staff it uses (from the agency to the drivers, who obviously know the territory very well) but also because it allows you to structure a “tailor-made” trip. For example, there were 3 of us and being regular travelers, we greatly appreciated the possibility of having some flexibility in organizing the days (things to see, times, time for us, lunches and dinners in the restaurants we chose, Shopping, etc.), despite the fact that the driver was always a support and reference point (eg contacts with local guides, suggestions etc). Over-recommended!!

My partner and I had a 12 day holiday in Sri Lanka visiting Colombo, Negombo, Sigirya, Kandy, Trincomalee, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Yala. A wonderful experience filming with our Bandara Guide, an attentive, kind, cultured and super helpful person. We also did 2 safaris, one in Minnirya and one in Yala where we saw 3 leopards up close, thanks to our Guide who advised us to change the safari time and do it in the afternoon. Beautiful also the experience in Nuwara Eliya at 1868 m among the tea plantations. We stayed there in a simple but comfortable hotel with very kind staff. On our tour of northern India, the agency in Calcutta they had relied on didn't provide good service. The hotel, driver, and car were terrible. We had to make up for this by booking a suitable hotel ourselves, after a nightmare first night.
We relied on this agency for our trip to India, trusting the positive reviews read on the net and we were not disappointed. Our journey lasted 12 days, including the outward and return flight. Everything previously agreed with Mr Karni was respected and there were no problems. We made the scheduled stops traveling in a comfortable car equipped with air conditioning and wifi. Very good our Italian speaking driver Shankar to juggle the traffic of Delhi and other cities visited. He also accompanied us to the various restaurants recommending the most appropriate dishes and acting as an interpreter for us during the orders. Very helpful even when one of our destinations involved a train ride: he also went up pointing us to our carriage. Very good and helpful also Anand, the driver who was with us the last two days also speaking Italian: he took us where we asked and he also gave us advice when they were served. We travelled with a 12-year-old boy. Surely we were satisfied with the choice made and recommend this agency.
I only have a few days left and a strong desire to return to India, my third time. We did an 8-day tour between Rajasthan, Agra and Delhi organized in a short time thanks to Karni's experience. Everything went perfectly, the hotels beautiful, the ride was well thought out and we were very pleased with the experience. A few days before leaving we had some problems with one of the visas, we contacted Luca (Karni's Italian contact person) who was super professional and courteous. In India we were in the precious hands of Mohan, our chauffeur / guardian angel.... he took us everywhere, helped us buy tickets to the sites, made us do small (but very important) "extra" experiences to make us better understand Indian life and its traditions. Obviously, you're in India, so expect tour treatment (sightseeing, etc., in places where they'll sell you top-quality fabrics and rings, very stressful if you don't want to buy anything). The choice proved to be completely spot on, as we traveled comfortably and the hotels we booked exceeded our expectations. They were truly beautiful and of high quality (it was definitely worth it!) Considering the constant and tiring travel and the temperatures, which during this period reach around 38/40 degrees Celsius, arriving at a hotel with every possible comfort (swimming pool, massage options, wonderful gardens, gorgeous rooms, etc.) and at more than reasonable prices is an opportunity not to be missed.

A few years ago, we contacted Karni to arrange a tailor-made trip to Rajasthan for us. A colleague who had also traveled with him had recommended him, and everything turned out wonderfully. As soon as we arrived at the airport, a driver was waiting for us to accompany us for the rest of the trip. Later that same afternoon, Karni visited us at the hotel to meet us in person. He kept in touch with us by phone throughout the trip to make sure everything was to our liking. The hotels were fantastic, and the driver gave us recommendations and kept us company as if we had a 24-hour guide. We would especially recommend Karni for his professionalism and the sense of security he instills throughout the entire trip. He speaks excellent Italian, which greatly improved our trip because we communicated very easily. Definitely an interesting trip. The site of Ellore and Ajanta are very interesting and worth a visit. Even Mumbai, however complex, has revealed curious aspects, neighborhoods, temples, unexpected parks. Goa required more time than we had to fully explore. The proposed resorts proved to be welcoming, particularly the Meridein in Calangute. The drivers who accompanied us were available and the means of transport were comfortable.

We chose KARNI for our Rajastan tour, 16 nights and private driver. KARNI was very helpful during the organization of the itinerary. The driver Mohan is an exceptional person! He spoke a little Italian and told us many stories of India. The hotels chosen have not always proven to live up to expectations in terms of quality-price. I found the final price a little expensive for being in India but we were satisfied with the experience and above all with the driver assigned to us: safe and patient driving in the crazy Indian traffic, kindness and attention.
The only downside was when we left Rajasthan. They changed our driver and vehicle, and it wasn't quite as spectacular as it had been in Rajasthan. I don't mean to say it was bad, but the driver's friendliness wasn't the same as it had been before.
Let me start by saying that this was my third time in India and therefore I already had full awareness of what to ask for, what to avoid and how to structure my trip. Two of us (me and my 17 year old son) left for almost a month between Northern India and Nepal, I entrusted myself to Mr.'s agency for the organization of the Delhi - Varanasi route. Karni Singh.... Never was a more appropriate choice! Together we planned, via email, the itinerary, means of transport, places of interest for us to visit, accommodation and prices: Mr. Karni met my expectations 110% and the trip was nothing short of perfect. Santosh, our driver for 9 days always punctual and present and impeccable at driving. Hotels with exceptional value for money (Hotel Ramada in Jaipur and Amar Mahal in Orchha above all). The guide boy entrusted to us for the two days in Varanasi (after a long train journey with tickets booked by the Karni agency) was really good and efficient. I have just returned from a fantastic trip to India, I visited Rajasthan and Varanasi, relying on this agency, for 18 impeccable days. We took a private tour, we were two people in total, comfortable car, the driver Shankar was very good, among other things he speaks Italian very well. We traveled as a group of three for two weeks to Rajasthan, India, with the agency INDIA KARNI, Indevoyage. Ours is a long journey divided into two parts always organized by Karni. A first part includes Delhi, Rajasthan and Varanasi and a second part includes Kerala and Tamil Nadu. I think it is correct to make two very distinct reviews. The first is entirely dedicated to our driver Anand who accompanied us, followed us and looked after us for 15 days. Without an excellent driver who knows how to navigate the chaotic traffic of India who can tell you what to do, where to go, what to eat (especially for me who have serious allergies) you are lost! Anand is very punctual, attentive, tries to speak Italian, clean, intelligent, so when he understands your tastes and needs he moves accordingly, anticipating your needs. Therefore first advice ask for Anand as a driver. The organization of the trip was overall good with some small imperfections: - a couple of hotels below standard - lack of information that on domestic flights the maximum permitted kg is 15 (while on international flights they vary from 23 to 30) and that you will be made to pay for every extra gram and since domestic flights are booked by the agency this is an important communication that must be provided! - Finally, no one told us that the spices that push us to buy so much must be put in our suitcases and on board and cannot be carried in hand luggage if you leave from Varanasi airport. I would say the guides are all excellent apart from one in Agra which is decidedly poor! Shopping is another sore point. As a tourist you are a "chicken to be plucked" and you feel like this on every occasion, sometimes more, sometimes less. You can't go to the bazaars because they won't take you and there the prices are certainly less high but the quality is probably lower. Where you are taken by drivers and guides the quality is certainly better but the prices are high. We then spent two days in Varanasi and there we experienced what it means to have a non-existent driver. Thankfully he drove well, but he never uttered a single word in two days. The guide we had instead spoke excellent Italian. On the other hand, we met a boy who traveled far and wide with his tuk tuk and whose telephone number we can provide for anyone who wants it, an extraordinary person. If you want to shop Varanasi is a great place.
It was very important to have the help of Elena from Milan, who, however, I believe is no longer part of Karni's staff, because she was fundamental to the approach to the trip.
