Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Touch down at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, where our driver welcomes you and transfers you to your hotel. After freshening up, set out to explore Old Delhi — the mighty Red Fort of Shah Jahan, the grand Jama Masjid, the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk and Meena Bazaar, and Raj Ghat, the serene memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

New Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, discover the wide boulevards of Lutyens' New Delhi. Visit the soaring Qutub Minar, the lotus-shaped Bahai Temple and India Gate; drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House; and explore Humayun's Tomb, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the Laxmi Narayan (Birla) Temple and Lodhi Garden, before an evening stroll around Connaught Place.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra – Agra Fort & Mehtab Bagh

Drive to Agra (200 km, about 4 hours), city of the Mughals. In the afternoon tour the red-sandstone Agra Fort with its Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas, then watch the sun set behind the Taj Mahal from the tranquil Mehtab Bagh gardens across the Yamuna.

Day 4

Taj Mahal at Sunrise & Drive to Jaipur

Rise early to witness the Taj Mahal glowing at sunrise — Shah Jahan's white-marble monument to eternal love. After breakfast, journey to Jaipur (about 5 hours), stopping at the abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri, the astonishing Chand Baori stepwell at Abhaneri, and the Galta (Monkey) Temple.

Jaipur – The Pink City

Spend a full day exploring Jaipur. Photograph the honeycomb facade of Hawa Mahal, ascend the hilltop Amber Fort, and tour the City Palace and the astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar, followed by a one-hour heritage walk through the bazaars of the Old City.

Day 6

Fly to Mumbai

Fly from Jaipur to Mumbai, India's vibrant financial capital on the Arabian Sea. On arrival, visit the seaside Bandra Bandstand and the hilltop Mount Mary Basilica, the lively sands of Juhu Beach, and the revered Siddhivinayak Temple.

Day 7

Mumbai City Tour

A full day exploring Mumbai: the iconic Gateway of India, the Indo-Saracenic Prince of Wales Museum, the terraced Hanging Gardens of Malabar Hill, the sweeping Marine Drive, the open-air Dhobi Ghat laundry, Mani Bhavan (Gandhi's Mumbai home) and Crawford Market — driving past the Bombay High Court and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

Day 8

Elephanta Caves

Take a scenic ferry from the Gateway of India to Elephanta Island to explore its UNESCO-listed rock-cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, then return to the city for the evening.
